Some Updates
Dear all,
I’m teaching a class, “The Art of Compression,” for Flash Fiction Magazine on June 6 and 7th, from 10:30-1:30. It’s all about how to do more with less, and the less being 1,000 words or less, the agreed-upon definition of flash.
As part of this, they offer “Ask, Write, Repeat,” a two-hour session—FREE. I’ll talk a bit about compression techniques, we’ll do some compression-focused prompts, share work, and I’ll answer questions.
Again, this is free. It’s on Saturday, May 23, from 10:30-12:30 pm Pacific Time.

I’ve signed up and thoroughly enjoyed the/your session yesterday Ask, Write, Repeat. Unfortunately (or not, depending on the lens I use) I won’t be able to participate virtually in the moment as I will be on a Norwegian Cruise - Into the Land of
The Midnight Sun. So will have to watch the replay. 🇨🇦😊🇳🇴
I would love to join this class, but will be away that weekend. Any chance it will be recorded?
