I liked this one. Just stringing all those images together felt like being let off some kind of leash to run free with wild abandon. I'm afraid I failed to come up with assonance or alliteration but I tried to build a strong visual sense with my word choices. Here's what I came up with:

The ranks of intending passengers blurred past the window and the train slowed and I could make out colours of coats and umbrellas gripped against the rush of air and the gusts of wind, then it slowed more and there were individuals and groups and their faces were alert or angry or anxious or uncertain, or blank if such a thing is possible, and all of them waited for this train to finally stop and what then?
